Introduction to Shufeng Yayun Theater
Founded in 1998, Shufeng Yayun, based in Sichuan, serves both domestic and international audiences. It comprehensively showcases authentic Sichuan folk arts and classic operas, and is a large-scale, multi-functional opera venue integrating traditional Chinese art performances, folk stunt performances, opera, and theatrical supplies. It is listed in the "National Key Cultural Tourism Projects List—Tourism Performance Category" jointly by the Ministry of Culture and the National Tourism Administration.

Shufeng Yayun's percussion, music, and flute performances exude elegance without uttering a single word. The essence of various musical pieces is presented, with all the roles of Sheng, Dan, Jing, Mo, and Chou on stage. Kunqu, Gao, Hu, Tan, and other opera styles abound. Here you can find authentic Sichuan opera skills such as face-changing, fire-breathing, and costume-changing shows, as well as rolling lanterns and hand shadow plays renowned throughout China. There are also exquisite rod puppets, with the resounding drums and music creating a powerful and lingering atmosphere.
